   Correction: Last week, I said that Hurricane Ida was predicted to arrive “fifteen years to the day of Hurricane Katrina’s deadly landfall. I stand corrected. 

   Excerpted from news media: “Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana on the 16th anniversary of the day Hurricane Katrina slammed into New Orleans and southern Louisiana, leaving catastrophic devastation. Ida has had maximum sustained winds of 150 mph.”
